The Classic Raincoat

The April showers have faded, but have no fear, the summer thunderstorms are approaching. No need to put away the classic raincoat.

Many ideas come to mind when I mention 'raincoat', but the main picture I see is the classic neutral coloured button-down, with a belt coat. It's perfect for the rain, but perfectly adequate when weather gets too warm for a winter jacket but not hot enough to go without one. The neutrality of the jacket aids in working well with just about any outfit choice. They go well with boots, flats, just about anything. The key word is 'neutral'; any choice made from head to toe is an almost definite match.

Now where does one find a coat as perfect as the one described above? Lucky for you, they are available almost everywhere. Prices high to low, but quality always high-end.

If you're shooting for the higher end of the raincoat spectrum, Burberry the most gorgeous,
well-made and extremely stylish raincoat of all times. When I become rich and living NYC, I will definitely be walking the streets in this coat.

Other smart options when in search of a raincoat include DKNY, Zara, Michael Kors, Macy's if there is no required designer, Gap and Express. Obviously they can be found in many other stores
but in my personal experiences I have seen wonderful raincoats in great quality sold
in the said stores. If you have no preference to designer, Bloomingdales and Macy's have
the perfect assortment of designers with prices ranging from inexpensive to a higher end
of the price spectrum.

Happy Raincoat Shopping!!!
